Vocalist

Entertaining 20 million people, live, on American Idol 8, was a life-long dream for Felicia Barton. She grew up singing in churches, jazz groups, and performing in a number of musicals. In 2000, she was crowned Miss Virginia Beach...praised for her beauty, poise & amazing voice. She blossomed as a Christian worship leader, writing and recording 2 live CDs. In 2008, as a budding, local solo artist, she was received by standing-room-only crowds!! FOX then chronicled Felicia's incredible rise to fame on American Idol. Since, she has been developing her music with some of Nashville's most respected writers and producers. Loved for her 'raspy, soulful tone' and authentic, positive lyrics, time will tell that her success on American Idol was only the beginning... Along with her husband, Loren Barton, and 3 year old son, Malachi, she has recently moved from her home in Virginia Beach, VA to Nashville, TN as she continues to pursue her love for writing and performing.
